Beside or Behind!
Retiring Chief
Justice positions
must we of these
titles assumed…
which GOD never
appointed to us.
Like “independent”,
“self-made” or as “king”,
so these labels never
gave HE. At least not to
those of HIS pasture.
Thus as those wholly
dependent on CHRIST,
our names bear no
preceding marker for…
HE is exclusively leading!
Then! Wise stewards
and followers — faithful
are we as HIS servants
resigned to not walk
ahead of HIS footprints.
As HIServant too who chooses afresh to follow HIS lead as my LORD,

And yet! How often we do that very thing which isn’t Surrender!
We are to humbly serve HIM relentlessly each day…even when called to lead family and others.
So “retire” any such contrary thought and every errant positioning!
Rather! Walk beside or behind HIM, your KING WHO is coming!
