Readily Resetting our Sight!
Earthly possessions bear value that’s fleeting as material gains fade faster than breath.
Still the struggle for some is their blindness excessive which clings to what GOD is removing… for good.
What unrest and turmoil disturbs greedy thinking!
How wayward to fight for declining positions!
So let HIS discernment control all such choices; for HIS WORD divines what’s of value!

Devotional: 1 John 2:16 “For all that is in the world — the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life — is not from the FATHER but is from the world.”
As flesh we tend to focus on what’s seen instead of the unseen realm.
On one hand, we’re human so that makes sense to a point.
But we are spiritual beings temporarily housed in this body of flesh.
So our sight also must be greater focused on spiritual things above… instead of the earth.
Oh the battles that ensue!
Many are the struggles to get looking upward and forward in CHRIST.
So let us be found always resting in HIM…
by readily rejecting the world’s temporary trappings!
