Through the Storm Press!

Psalm 46:1 “GOD is our Refuge and Strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”

Through the Storm Press!

The cracks in this

clay, each break in

this frame, remind

that HIS paths are

not absent of pains.

HIS burden IS light

thus purposed with

good.

But training is

meant to transform

and improve.

Lift then your face upwards; turn into

the wind…and

weather Life’s

storms together —

with HIM!

As HIServant reminded and reminding to ever bind our steps with HIS spiritual sandals,

Devotional: John 16:33: “In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

Life causes wrinkles over time.

With  hardships, heartaches, extreme losses and more, we often spend most of our time trying to avoid the olive press.

Those hard, crushing experiences that need time to be traversed fully.

Those events which GOD means to hone our character and trust in HIM.

Now we may see them incorrectly as something that just happens.

As if it’s inevitable that we’ll suffer needlessly.

But GOD!

HE never wastes a pain as HE weaves instruction and purpose through every tempest wind!

William E. “Bill” Vaughan (1915–77) was an American columnist and author.

In a 1973 Better Homes and Gardens article wrote…

“Always run towards something. Never run from problems.

For most people life is a long string of problems we must enjoy solving as each comes along.”

Spiritually translating:

Always run towards CHRIST!

Matthew 11:28 “Come to ME, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Never avoid nor run from those storms which HE’s purposed to have you go through with HIM.

Yes! For GODly training produces Transformation’s best results…

…when we choose to persevere — zealously pursuing the LORD!

Press onward then through all your storms —- firmly holding the hand of JESUS!

Amen and amen.
