1 Thessalonians 5:20-21 “Do not treat prophecies with contempt, but test all things.”
Signs are surrounding us; falling and appearing with numbers, increasing. Daily additions have now been propelled past the minute-hand standing. Now seconds, with signals, combine into crossroads.
Simply meaning this then, Rapid’s pace, as the signs of HIS coming unfold. Them HIServants will witness…who expectantly watched to see the “last” sign which the Lost, with surprise, shall miss-label as “first”.
As HIServant watching and praying, expectant of The Rapture!
Devotional: 2 Peter 1:21 “For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from GOD as they were carried along by the HOLY SPIRIT.”
Prophecy IS from YEHSHUA, our SAVIOUR, and HE instructs us to be ready!
Amos 3:7 “Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing HIS plan to HIS servants the prophets.”
Here we see the confirmation that HE did indeed reveal tangible and verifiable signs to HIS servants whom HE used to take dictation from HIMSELF.
1 John 4:1 “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from GOD, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.”
Yes, we study prophecy but we compare what others say with what HE said! Satan would love for all the saints to sleep, to not watch, to dismiss prophecy casually which then goes against HIS warning to us.
Matthew 7:15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.”
1 Thessalonians 5:20-24 “Do not treat prophecies with contempt, but test all things. Hold fast to what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely, and may your entire spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless at the coming of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. The ONE WHO calls you is faithful, and HE will do it!”
What I pray is abundantly apparent in this written offering is that IF one despises, ignores, shrugs off, devalues, or even avoids the reality and blessing of studying Biblical prophecy…then such souls will be surprised when HE returns.
To those left behind, comments like “Wow, that was a surprise!” Or “Who knew?” will sadly be rampant across the globe.
1 Thessalonians 5:14 “And we urge you, brothers, to admonish the unruly, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, and be patient with everyone.”
So! Serve in such manner relentlessly, without hesitation! Rejoice that HE is coming and study HIS WORD and the signs HE is giving us in these last days.
Yes! Study so that you too are found watching and waiting for YEHSHUA’s last sign to HIS own!
Hallelujah! Amen and amen!
