Witnessing…HIS Work!

Jude 1:3b “I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people.

Witnessing…HIS Work!

Be ye quick to confess JESUS’ name above all; ere one’s steps trip or fall. and before sin can fester.

Proclaim CHRIST, ever sovereign, whilst walking with HIM…in HIS footprints secured as you journey through life.

For how great is our GOD WHO requires we love all “the others” who see us as “one and the same”!

As “outcasts so narrowly minded” by Pride; through the “power of HIS NAM claiming “CHRIST alone saves!”

BUT! This IS who we are; boasting just of the LORD! Whole redeemed by blood crimson; for every sin “ours”!

With Redemption drawn closer, so we watch — unfearful — with shouts of HIS praise in the face of Contentions!

So stand as HIS witnesses, quick with Confession; with proofs both heard verbal and seen, humbly written!

Yes, STAND without wavering thus savoring CHRIST’s Victory which HE purchased for us to hold…in HIS hands!

As HIServant in HIS hands and in your service,

Devotional: 1 Peter 3:15 “But honor the Messiah as LORD in your hearts. Always be ready to give a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you.”

Recently we’ve been watching the video series, CHRIST Revealed. It shows a lot of the additional, recently uncovered proofs of our SAVIOUR’s resurrection and the Bible.

It’s a fascinating series talking also about Christian apologetics. “The English word “apology” comes from a Greek word which basically means “to give a defense.” Christian apologetics, then, is the science of giving a defense of the Christian faith.”

There are talks by highly educated former atheists who took very scientific approaches to testing the facts of the WORD of Almighty GOD…and whom JESUS apprehended through their studies. Too much to go into here but I encourage you to watch them.

Philippians 1:16 “The latter do so out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel.”

In verse 15, “the latter” refers to preaching CHRIST out of goodwill and in love as opposed to out of envy and strife.

So we can “defend the Gospel” meaning our adamant belief and trust in it, in love…or not in love.

Hebrews 4:12-13 “For The WORD of GOD is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from GOD’s sight.”

If we brandish the Sword, the living Bible, for personal pride, verse casting out passages WITHOUT readily perceived humility in love, then we are annoying, errant and nothing.

1 Corinthians 13:1 “If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.”

So Faith in GOD alone is what I firmly stand on. But to be quick to give an account of the hope of our calling?, we defend the faith WITH the Bible and also the many scientific facts which have been uncovered clearly backing up our faith!

Philippians 1:27 “Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I will hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel…”

Beloved, believing in Faith without pressing for every fact you can find is blessed. CHRIST said so to (doubting) Thomas in John 20:29 “Then JESUS told him, “Because you have seen ME, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

Believe steadfastly in Faith AND rest knowing that the facts HE chose to reveal to us are there! So witness to all in faith about HIS FINISHED WORK!

Knowing these facts then deepens our faith! So they are the icing on the cake that fuels our walk in and for CHRIST!

Amen and amen!
