Matthew 26:41 “Watch and pray so that you will not enter into temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak.”
Engaging THIS Hour!
At the end of a session, a meeting or test,
where presented are curtains, the door or some exit,
understood are such closings then as that last line…
which gets crossed at the point when each race concludes life.
But the multitudes pressing within their routines
still believe Time will keep onwards running, yea “ticking”!
However, the ONE WHOSE hands measure our moments
provides no more “second chance” breaths for atonement.
For this age GOD constrained (to no more than HIS limits)
will finally be drawn — even down to its finish.
So now is the Hour in which no one can linger!
Repent then your past and embrace…HIS beginning!
As HIServant focused on HIS hands in this Hour,
Devotional: Mark 13:33 “Take heed, watch and pray: for you know not when the time is.”
With every passing second, what is present becomes past tense. With every movement to expand our kingdom, we draw back from pressing into HIS.
Even so, the topic of the Rapture is more hotly contested and even dismissed by those who should know better. Those who have believed for years and now comprise to accommodate Attendance.
This meaning much more focus on seat filling than Content accuracy…and all with a zeal for the lukewarm.
But! HIS SPIRIT within us lifts our eyes to look to the Heavens from where HE is coming from.
The rampant temptation today is for our “best life now”, to a path of little challenge and to shallow spiritual “depths” so as not to get bogged down in fervent study of HIS WORD.
The trembling and awe of GOD Almighty is something devils do also so don’t use that as a good measurement.
Rather show HIM relentless awe, tremble humbly as one broken and REPENT of any time wasted in pursuit of Life’s dilutions of Faith.
The SPIRIT within us is willing but our flesh favors gatherings together over time set apart just with CHRIST.
Matthew 27:54 “Now the centurion, and those who were with him keeping guard over JESUS, when they saw the earthquake and the things that were happening, became very frightened and said, “Truly this was the Son of GOD!”
He saw first hand CHRIST’s life and sacrifice. But his belief was far different from those who had “studied for decades”…the pastors of the regular church. Pharisees
So when we look at the End of Things with eyes of Flesh, we mirror those demonstrating an affection for shallows of this life.
Often it’s because others don’t see the Zeal of CHRIST shining through us. Other times, earthly position and attention are given greater focus that the Comforts provided by Calvary.
Perfect Comfort which teaches us this final truth. When we end our relationship with the world, we’re at the Beginning…on the Foundation of GOD!
Amen and amen!
