The Finished Line
Stretching to Heaven
yet coming up short;
Pressing in zealous
yet grasping thin air.
So feels Self’s resolve:
past zero — restrained…
when Strength stood within
but not in The LORD.
When on knees — fallen:
then am I lifted…
by CHRIST, my soul’s KING.
So my feet reach shore!
Now each time Lack stands,
HIS WORD pushes back!
IN confident steps then
together…we walk!

Do you ever feel feel like you’re not going to reach the finish line?
Well, I direct us both to instead look at CHRIST’s “Finished Line” which HE said on the Cross.
John 19:30 in part tells us “It is Finished! It is Finished!”
So our battle is already won, our SAVIOUR is soon coming back for us and we WILL walk together on the streets and shores of Heaven — forever! Amen!
