Soul Searching, Sole Sourcing!

Colossians 3:2 “Set your affection on things above, (CHRIST!) not on things on the earth.”

Soul Searching, Sole Sourcing!

It’s frustrating to have only option to choose from. “Am I getting a good price? Is this the only color it comes in? Is thus actually crafted well? How do I know?” These questions knaw at us, causing grief all too often.

So tying this into a spiritual thread…the world has sought other “options”. But instead of finding the best by way of “compare and contrast”, Confusion rules the day.

In fact, dilution of the real source and sole foundation which CHRIST alone provides…is at a record high.

Yet singleness of mind and with hearts solely stayed and set upon JESUS…we find both the Perfect Solution and the best provision.

The “Almost” or “Kinda close” message is usually the one hardest to filter. As Spurgeon quoted, “Discernment is not knowing the difference between right and wrong. It is knowing the difference between right and almost right.”

So we have to diligently, relentlessly and zealously have our heart, mind, body and soul…solely fixed on CHRIST. You can’t recognize a counterfeit unless you know the original intimately and completely.

3 verses.

John 14:6 “JESUS said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the FATHER except through ME.”

Acts 4:12 “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

1 Timothy 2:5 “For there is (only) one GOD, and there is one mediator between GOD and men, the man CHRIST JESUS…”

Compare everything that is thrown at you through the unedited WORD of GOD. Examine every claim of man, especially those in the pulpit, as a zealous Berean…consuming page after page with a righteous hunger!

In this Hour, man continually argues for options, “other paths” and alternative routes to Heaven which are filled with the works of flesh.

So! If your eyesight is elsewhere, other than entirely fixated upon the heart of CHRIST….

…then take your “glasses” and crush them. Seek HIS face alone and wait before HIM…to anoint your eyes!

As HIServant reminded to look solely through the lens of CHRIST,

Whitney
