Revelation 19:1 “After this I heard what sounded like a large crowd of people in heaven. The people were saying, “Hallelujah! Victory, glory, and power belong to our GOD!
Shout to The LORD!
Sing of HIS praises; Yes!
Lift up HIS NAME!
Pour out of your soul,
even empty your heart!
Share the heights of such
worship — with zealous abandon!
Yes, give HIM your all…
with the awe of a child!
For Heaven’s expanse is
resounding with music!
Each child of GOD singing
with HIS creation!
So wholly surrendered,
shout now as though
present upon Glory’s shoreline!
Yes! Shout to the LORD!
As HIServant praising HIM now because we will — forever!!

Devotional: Revelation 19:6-7 “Then I heard something that sounded like a large crowd of people. It was as loud as crashing waves or claps of thunder. The people were saying,
“Hallelujah! Our LORD GOD rules.
HE is the All-Powerful. 7 Let us rejoice and be happy and give GOD glory! Give GOD glory, because the wedding of the Lamb has come! And the Lamb’s bride has made herself ready!
We see this as New Jerusalem in Revelation but it also symbolizes us, the Body and Bride of CHRIST! We who are watching expectantly have made ourselves ready BY WATCHING! Not by works.
The Greek word for bride is νύμφη (nymfi or numphe) as in Revelation 21:2, 9, This word, νύμφη , is understood to mean “a son’s wife,” or “daughter-in-law,” -“bride.” Revelation 19:7 which has γυνὴ (gune) means “wife” or “woman”.
And! The first miracle was the transforming of water into wine. It was a wedding feast! The BRIDEGROOM doesn’t marry a city although New Jerusalem is also referenced.
So rejoice with your lungs lifting your hearts’ cries of gratitude and thanksgiving! Rejoice today as though bowing before HIM with arms raised!
Shout to the LORD!
Amen and amen!
