Psalm 91:7-8 “A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked.”
When Justice Stands!
In Justice, we find the payment for crimes. Injustice we see often happens instead.
So rather than punishment duly applied, the victim is blamed…
even harmed once again.
Yet with spiritual eyes on the LOVE of our eyes, the Judge of Creation…so solace is gained.
Well knowing GOD is not deceived nor deluded, thus HE is not mocked and shall make sinners pay!
Yea, the world remains as those scheming in darkness. It’s minions and hordes press — relentless!
Yet GOD is far greater and shall take revenge on our enemies though they seem to be endless!
So STAND, fellow CHRISTian! Our MASTER is coming; rewarding the wicked with what they have earned!
Though Justice then seem in this life to have failed; HE shall ensure Justice has surely been served!
As HIServant awaiting the Hour HE delivers our enemies as our footstool,
Devotional: Luke 20:42-43 “For David himself says in the book of Psalms, ‘The LORD said to my Lord, “Sit at MY right hand, until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”’
When we lose sight of GOD’s already passed assignment of Justice against satan and those choosing him, we — by default — struggle greatly to find HIS justice in this life.
Psalms 130:5 “Wait for the LORD, my soul does wait, and in HIS WORD do I hope!”
Now we’re not doormats meant to stand and keep turning our cheek so the world can continue hitting us. Nor do we take HIS Justice into our own hands.
Thus this relentless tug of war continues in the hearts and minds of so many believers. Our souls, ever longing to see the “reward of the wicked” can then lose sight of HIS promises!
Romans 12:19 “Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is MINE, I will repay,” says the LORD.”
Deuteronomy 32:35 “Vengeance is MINE, and recompense, for the time when their foot shall slip; for the day of their calamity is at hand, and their doom comes swiftly.”
So let us seize the day for good and for sharing HIS Good News. Let us be quick to faithfully speak patience and encouragement as opposed to formulating plans for “payback”.
Let us walk then without Fear, redeeming every moment in HIS service instead of the employ of our enemies.
Proverbs 20:22 “Do not say, “I will repay evil”; wait for the LORD, and HE will deliver you.”
Wait then I say, oh my soul, on your LORD! Amen and amen!
