By My FATHER’s Faith!

HIS Faithfulness! How Great!

Ephesians 6:16 “Above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.”

By My FATHER’s Faith!

My Shield of Faith and prized possession — where fiery darts meet their demise;

shall quench each blaze which hell creates! Extinguished there are satans’ lies.

Yet when I fail to lift Salvation; when — ground embracing — lays my guard…

then with Self’s strength comes Pride’s destruction where countless wounds remain — unscarred.

To THEE this plea, dear FATHER— rises; secure YOUR shield before my chest!

Then shall YOUR faith o’er take this soul and safe will I be found — at rest!

As HIServant ever clinging tightly to the gift of SAVIOUR’s shield,

Devotional: Galatians 2:16 “ Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith OF Jesus Christ, even we have believed IN Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith OF Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.”

The faith of our God and King is what gives us our shield. The shield of faith is described of in Ephesians 6:16.

If we leave HIS gift of protection face down on the ground, then! THEN the fiery darts of the enemy become embedded within our flesh.

But to “go through the motions” of wearing HIS armor, this means we are above all souls to be pitied.

By trusting in our strength we always find out too late that the devils’ arrows still burn in our chest.

So we cling to HIS faith which bolsters and builds us up to express our own!

Those walking in the knowledge that HE never leaves us will find that HE stands in front and will not permit any to take us out of HIS hands.

So rise with your Shield of Faith prominently and transparently displayed so that all see by WHOM you stand — secured!

John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Hallelujah! Amen and amen!
