As an empty vessel
with fractured frame,
it’s still common to find
Hesitation within.
Such unwilling to carry whatever remains since
the bulk has been lost
of HIS blessings once held.
Or so it seems to this
Pilgrim whose progress
feels punctured by razor
sharp darts — so demonic.
Even pinned to depression
by enemy arrows, but GOD!
Hear our cries! Yes, LORD
JESUS, relieve us!
And then! Hallelujah! YOU
drew us through Scripture!
Oh yes! Hallelujah! We
heard YOU proclaim!
“Fear not, I am with you
and shall not abandon
the work of MY hands! Yea,
your vessels — yet scarred.”
So breathe now MY daughter!
Breathe in, MY Beloved!
I have cleansed you with Crimson! Hold on till I come!
For MY blood was enough;
shed as proof upon Calvary!
Thus each promise I made
shall come true! Yea, for you!
