1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, HE is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Discarding Camouflage!

Whose name is confessed, yours or another’s, when Blames’s finger points to your bloodied, red hands?
Which subset is guilty, your sisters’ or brothers’, when one assumes fault only lies outside self?
Though guiltless, yet CHRIST took our penalty for us! Though spotless indeed, HE chose Calvary’s cross!
Thus watch where you’re going and point to the mirror…making sure you’re transparent appearing — to all!
As HIServant reminded of our CHRISTian responsibility to confess our own sins and not others; reflecting CHRIST,
Whitney
Devotional: James 1:23 “For if anyone is a hearer of the WORD and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror.”
This is where the one looking in the mirror DOESN’T SEE transparency because they choose to just hear and NOT DO…what GOD’s WORD says!
Also Exodus 20:16 “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.”
And consider Ephesians 4:25. “Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.”
“Giving credit where credit is due” is much the same as assigning blame where it belongs. Taking ownership of our own steps and not guilting someone else to accept fault.
Look at Galatians 2:20! “I have been crucified with CHRIST. It is no longer I who live, but CHRIST WHO lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the SON of GOD, WHO loved me and gave HIMSELF for me.”
Since HE has taken our place and the punishment of eternal death fell on CHRIST, WHOSE blood sacrifice paid our sin debt in full forever…
…let us own up to our own mistakes; discarding every shred of camouflage!
Yes! Sharing GOD’s love through CHRIST to all, be transparent then to all as well!
Amen and amen!
