Life Extensions!
Given how fragile life is
like onion skin paper;
with breath but a vapor…
so am I reminded…I’m HIS.
Near misses abounding
like arrows off center;
which yet hit our targets
but miss…per YOUR orders.
As such, again praising
for one more day’s dawning;
YOUR light creates shadows
once reaching…our scars.
From every raised callous,
therefore we see Calvary;
Love’s rugged cross members
now outlined upon us!
With this morning’s first breath,
so are we re-wakened;
to serve as inscriptions
HE penned on Life’s paper!

Having been un-meritoriously spared from multiple and severe car accidents, while attending the passings of both brother and father in their own accidents…so my life carries greater meaning still full of HIS purpose.
Else this soul would have rejoined HIM in the same way yours would have if no more work remained for you here to do.
Our challenge is that we often view our own lives like onion skin paper. We move more so with self preservation — at times — than giving without regard for ourselves.
Psalm 139:10 “Even there YOUR hand shall lead me, and YOUR right hand shall hold me!”
Psalm 73:23 “Nevertheless, I am continually with you; you hold my right hand.”
Psalm 16:11 “YOU make known to me the path of life; in YOUR presence there is fullness of joy; at YOUR right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
BECAUSE OF THIS!! We can serve relentlessly for our times are in HIS hands. AND!
HE protects even the most fragile of lives to do all that HE designed for them…before Time!
