Exodus 8:32 “But Pharaoh hardened his heart at this time also; neither would he let the people go.”
Changing the Same!

Are we intolerant of the lessons Pain teaches? Is it’s presence shunned quickly — no matter the hour?
What of those warnings GOD sends as Discomfort— proposed? Are such moments defined just the same? As — “Not ours!”?
Thus rejecting HIS love do we spurn such Correction when “random” afflictions repeatedly grieve us.
So be wise, oh my Soul! Yea, oh Self! What confronts us? Which torments are more of just “more of the same”?
Given hurtful reflections whose patterns seem endless, then may we be instantly moved towards Change!
Where with urgency grasping the Sword of the SPIRIT, then hastily turn — I say — JUST to the LORD!
As HIServant looking ahead — having learned from the past — and encouraging the same,

Devotional: 1 Samuel 16:14” But the SPIRIT of the LORD departed from Saul, and a distressing spirit from the LORD troubled him.”
How many times in the book of 1st Samuel do we read where a distressing spirit from the LORD was sent against Saul?
We see that the LORD sent it for correcting. But it wasn’t present 24/7. Saul had the opportunity to change from the “same old, same old”.
But when Saul continued to follow his own ways then GOD again permitted the distressing spirit to afflict him severely even.
Also Pharoah suffered through all the plagues which his arrogant pride drove him and his people to endure.
GOD indeed hardened Pharoah’s heart which brought some plagues.
But others, even when given the opportunity to relent and let GOD’s people go, Pharoah chose just as Saul. “Same old, Same old.”
So! What about us? More directly…what about you?
Without exclusive surrender to our LORD JESUS, we turn errantly back to our own faulty ways, don’t we?
So RELENT!!! Step back onto the narrow way which HE alone authored.’
Immediately change today and leave the “same old, same old” behind!
Amen and amen!
