Isaiah 41:13 “For I the LORD your GOD will hold your right hand, saying to you, “Fear not; I will help you!”

Best caring for others
isn’t bringing them water
or food if it lets them stay
right where they are.
For the voids of the world
are not worth refilling
when doing so only
permits greater scars.
So be watchful and cautious
to not extend losses that
someone is praying you’ll
help throw away!
As HIServant asking for wisdom to first see every faith stealing substance in my life, then of others…

Devotional: Hebrews 12:1b-12:2a “….let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us,
…and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us…fixing our eyes on JESUS, the Pioneer and Perfecter of Faith!”
(Also read Romans 14:14-23 addresses this for additional instruction in HIS WORD. )
But Routine is just a self-designed pattern which doesn’t bear an external approval stamp.
Meaning: Just because you’ve always done something, doesn’t mean that it’s absence will be bad. In fact, it often helps!
Just because you ate junk food as a kid doesn’t mean you should keep following that routine as you get older, right?
So first look at those patterns which your heart engages and throw out those harmful…no matter the cost.
How well known is Matthew 7:3? “And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?”
How often do we critically look at the habits of others while ignoring those negative ones we maintain for ourselves?
So! Once disciplined for self’s daily examination, once “cleansed” of the excess which hinders our Faith walk, then!
“Lifting up others” shall be our blessed “routine” as we help them “throw away” the patterns which once bound us too!
Amen and amen!
