our souls…
till relinquished the grasp on this flesh which we hold.
Let us quickly submit
that our best is yet flawed…
by exalting the NAME of our KING and our GOD!
So applaud HIM, oh CHRISTian, WHOSE heart lifts us highest,
WHO bore Calvary’s cross; interceding — unbiased;
To cleanse us with love, crimson colored, in triumph!

Devotional: Unity Through Humility
Philippians 2: 1-4 “Therefore if there is any consolation in CHRIST, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the SPIRIT, if any affection and mercy,
2 fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.

Have you ever see. A tug of war match? Perhaps it was two children fighting over the same toy?
Lately, the LORD daily shows me the fragility and frailty of the flesh.
Flesh which desperately clings to things and situations which must be placed solely back into HIS hands.
Relinquishing control then, accidents are far less likely as we live likewise to CHRIST WHO gave HIS all…for us!
By “letting go”, we let GOD do just as HE wills without our interference.
Then, since no tug of war continues, no damage is done to our surroundings, including the hearts of others.
So surrender all, oh CHRISTian, to the LORD!
Let us each yield our Self, first and foremost, to HIM WHO is our perfect example.
Let us follow HIM WHO has all authority over us, namely…JESUS!
